Newcastle Falcons utility man Tim Visser is enjoying his makeshift role at centre and would be tempted by a permanent switch to the backs.

"I've really enjoyed the last two games," he told BBC Radio Newcastle. "It's gone very well actually.

"I think it depends what sort of team to play in for me to play back row but I'm really enjoying it in the backs."

"I'm not sure I want to go back but if they see my future there then I'll have to see what comes out of it."

Despite losing to Wasps in midweek the Falcons have been much improved in their performances and the Dutchman believes the fans have played their part in the revival.

"The whole team has been fired up, we had something to show to supporters," he said.

"We need to make sure they come and watch us next season and we've all played with passion.
