Tait is hoping to force himself into John Fletcher's plans |
Newcastle Falcons full back Alex Tait has admitted it is a dream to be playing for his boyhood team. Tait, 19, caught the eye of coach John Fletcher in academy games and the County Durham-born youngster is keen to make the most of his first-team chance.
He told BBC Look North: "It would only be my second start away at Bath.
"I'm relishing the challenge of getting involved. I've never been to the Recreation Ground but I heard it can have quite a big atmosphere."

With key personnel away on international duty the Falcons have been forced to blood their academy youngsters.
The knock-on effect is that during international weeks domestic rugby becomes a shop window for players like Tait to prove their worth to their clubs.
"It's my opportunity to try and put myself forward and show off my qualities," he said.
"I want to try and push and get involved a bit more when the England boys are back"
