Newcastle Falcons lock Andy Perry is expected to be sidelined for two months because of a fractured eye socket. The 32-year-old was injured shortly before half-time in the New Year's Day clash at Harlequins, which his side lost 42-15.
Full-back and captain Matthew Burke also left the pitch at the Twickenham Stoop following a clash of heads.
The Australian has been diagnosed with concussion and will undergo further tests before returning to action.
