Worsley has played nearly 300 games in all competitions for Wasps |
England flanker Joe Worsley has signed a new two-year deal with Wasps. The 32-year-old has been at the club for 17 years and will make his 200th Premiership appearance for them against London Irish on Sunday. A member of England's 2003 World Cup-winning squad, he has won Premiership and Heineken Cup titles at Wasps. Wasps director of rugby Tony Hanks said: "It's a great credit to the way Joe's looked after himself that he can have such longevity in the game." He added: "He is a player who represents the core values of this club and he is a vital member of the squad." Serge Betsen, Ben Broster, Joe Ward and Will Matthews all signed new deals at Wasps last month.
