Rees has become a key figure in the Wasps set-up |
Wasps and England flanker Tom Rees has signed a new two-year deal to stay at the Adams Park club until the end of the 2008-09 season. The 22-year-old has made 54 appearances and scored 12 tries since he made his debut against Harlequins in 2004.
He made his England debut against Scotland in this year's Six Nations.
Wasps director of rugby Ian McGeechan said: "Tom's new contract reflects our ambition to take the club forward and continue to challenge for honours."

Rees said: "I'm very pleased about agreeing this contract to stay at Wasps and really excited about what the next few years could bring for the club.
"Over the last few seasons, the chance to have been a part of what Wasps have achieved has been a major attraction to many players, and to be involved with the team and work with some fantastic people during that time has been of huge benefit to me.
"There is now a group of talented young players who are starting to break through into the first team at Wasps, who I think will play a dominant role for this club and in rugby in the years to come.
"I want to be a part of that, and I am looking forward very much to working with those players at Wasps over the next two years."
