London Irish duo Elvis Seveali'i and Alfredo Lalanne have both signed new contracts that will keep them at the club until the summer of 2011.

Samoan international, Seveali'i, 30, joined the Exiles from Sale Sharks while 26-year-old Lalanne arrived from Argentinian side San Isidro.

Head coach Toby Booth told the club's website: "We're pleased to have re-signed Elvis and Alfredo.

"Both have contributed greatly to our squad since they arrived last year."

Seveali'i has made an impact at centre, scoring seven tries in 25 appearances.

"I've enjoyed being at London Irish this season," said Seveali'i.

"I've played for clubs that have won the Magners League and the Guinness Premiership and the commitment I'm making to London Irish is driven by my belief that, with our squad, this club can also win silverware."

Scrum-half Lalanne, who has scored one try in 15 appearances added: "I know that London Irish can provide me with the development programme to help me reach my goals with the club and in Argentina's squad.

"This club is really good at bringing through talented young players so I'm really looking forward to playing my part over the next two seasons."
