London Irish have signed Munster's Australian back Paul Warwick for the start of the 2009/10 season.

The 27-year-old, who can play at either fly-half or full-back, has signed a three-year-deal with the Exiles.

Warwick has scored more than 200 points in 33 appearance for Munster, having joined them in 2007 from Connacht.

"Paul is a match-winning player whose performances at fly-half and full-back speak for themselves," said London Irish head coach Tony Booth.

606: DEBATE

"Quality not quantity has been the philosophy underlying our recruitment policy, so when the opportunity came to sign a top-class player like Paul Warwick we jumped at the chance.

"He is a welcome addition as we continue to build a world-class squad at London Irish."

Warwick joined Connacht in 2004 from Australian side Manly.
