London Irish fly-half Shane Geraghty has been left out of Brian Ashton's 22 for the Six Nations game against Italy. Geraghty was called up after a man-of-the-match performance for the Saxons when they beat Ireland A 31-13 on Friday.
Meanwhile, four London Irish players have been chosen for the Saxons match against Italy A on Saturday.
Nick Kennedy, David Paice and Delon Armitage all start, with Topsy Ojo on the bench.
Geraghty remains with the senior England squad so is not available for the Saxons. He should now be available for London Irish's next Premiership fixture, at home against Leicester Tigers on Sunday 17 February.
