Seilala Mapusua has signed a new three-year contract

Mapusua, 27, joined London Irish last year and his new deal will keep him at the club until 2011.

"Seilala is a world-class player and he is as good as any centre playing the game," said Exiles director of rugby, Brian Smith.

"We are delighted that he's committed himself to London Irish, he's an exceptional person."
