Scarlets prop Rhys Thomas is set to be out until the New Year after breaking his leg at Leicester on Sunday. The former Wales tighthead was stretchered off after 35 minutes of the Scarlets' 46-10 Heineken Cup defeat at Welford Road. Thomas went to hospital in Leicester for X-rays, which revealed a fracture of the tibia. It is more injury woe for the 28-year-old who miss a lot of last season with a toe problem. The former Dragons player won the last of his seven Wales caps two seasons ago.
