Stoddart extends stay at Scarlets

Wales full-back Morgan Stoddart has signed a new three-year deal at Llanelli Scarlets.

"The Scarlets play an attacking brand of rugby which suits me down to the ground," said the 23-year-old, who joined from Pontypridd two years ago.

"The new stadium is going up quickly, I'm looking to continue my development on a perfect running surface."

Stoddart, who has five tries from 31 Scarlets games, won his only Wales cap against South Africa last November.

"I've really enjoyed my time at the Scarlets," he said.

"I love living in Llanelli and things have definitely gone better than I could have hoped for.

"To be capped in my first full season as a Scarlet is a dream come true."
