Broster believes a move with boost his Wales hopes |
Llanelli Scarlets have signed Wales prop Ben Broster from Saracens. The 25-year-old tight-head had a year left on his Saracens contract but took the opportunity to leave after failing to hold down a regular starting place.
"I've had limited chances this season and when this opportunity came about, it was one I felt I needed to take," said twice capped Broster.
"It will be a really good move for me and my career. I'm delighted to be coming to Stradey."
Broster joined Saracens in 2000 but had to wait another three years before making his full debut for the English Premiership club.
He has since made a total of 67 appearances, but struggled to force himself into the side last season after a spell out injured, playing just five times.
His lack of first-team action meant he was overlooked for Wales' summer tour to Australia.
