Llanelli Scarlets eased to their second pre-season friendly victory over English opposition with the a dominant first-half display against Gloucester.
Wing Darren Daniel scored the first try in the opening stages, before full-back Martyn Thomas and wing Dafydd James added two breakaway scores.
Fly-half Ceiron Thomas landed two conversions to give the Scarlets a 19-0 lead after 30 minutes at Stradey Park.
Lock Adam Eustace scored Gloucester's only try just before the break.
The second half proved a huge disappointment as both sides struggled to find any cohesion after making numerous substitutions.
The Scarlets travel to Kingsholm for a reverse fixture with Gloucester on 26 August (1500 BST).
Scarlets coach Phil Davies:
"We've put a lot of emphasis on raising the intensity and the efficiency of the way we play. "Playing two top English teams was great preparation and we've got Gloucester next week as well. It's shaping up pretty well.
"If we can get consistency we've got the talent to be a threat for anybody."
