Sexton tangled with Lifeimi Mafi late in the Thomond Park game |
Leinster's Jonathan Sexton has lost his appeal against a two-week suspension for an incident during the Magners League game against Munster. An IRFU Disciplinary Panel ruled that Sexton's kick on Lifeimi Mafi amounted to an act of foul play. Sexton's ban started on 8 April and runs until 22 April. The ban rules the fly-half out of Sunday's Heineken Cup quarter-final against Harlequins and a Magners League game against Connacht.
