Leicester Tigers full-back Geordan Murphy says he hopes to continue his winning form after touching down twice in his first two games of the season.

The Tigers earned a narrow 24-22 victory over London Irish at Welford Road on Saturday.

Murphy told BBC Radio Leicester: "Saturday went well for me personally.

"I've been enjoying playing for Tigers for a few years now, especially on a day like that when there are a more balls floating around it's nice."

Murphy said: "I gifted them a try and that's disappointing but there's plenty to work on for next week."

The Tigers are second in the Premiership behind Harlequins after the second round of matches.
