The England international has signed from Newcastle Falcons

England back Toby Flood says he is relishing the chance to play for Leicester Tigers and is desperate to win trophies at Welford Road.

"Hopefully we can move forward and be involved in a strong winning side," the fly-half told BBC East Midlands Today.

"More than anything it's a world class club with guys who are world class players in it."

The 22-year-old has established himself in the England side and joined the Tigers from Newcastle Falcons in June.

"The professionalism and what the club wants to achieve both on and off the field is hugely exciting for me and it was a chance I couldn't turn down," he said.

Flood can play in a number of positions but is expected to take the number 10 shirt following Andy Goode's departure.
