Tigers swoop for scrum-half Dupuy

Dupuy faces a tough task to break into the Tigers team

Leicester Tigers have completed the signing of scrum-half Julien Dupuy from French side Biarritz.

Dupuy is a goal-kicking number nine who has gained Heineken Cup experience in the last four seasons with Biarritz.

The 24-year-old becomes new head coach Heyneke Meyer's second signing and will compete with Harry Ellis and Ben Youngs for a place in the starting line-up.

"I'm very happy. This will be a big change after so long with Biarritz but Leicester is a massive club," he said.

"I am looking forward to starting the pre-season work there and experiencing rugby in England," he added.
