Coach Brian Ashton says Tom Croft will bring a new dimension to England's attacking play when he makes his full international debut on Saturday. Leicester flanker Croft replaces James Haskell in the Calcutta Cup match against Scotland in Murrayfield.
And Ashton said: "Tom brings something different, probably out in those wider channels. He's electrifyingly quick and is almost a third winger in the side.
"He's good in the air, at line-outs at re-starts and at crossfield kicks."
Croft made an impressive debut as an early replacement for the injured Haskell in England's last Six Nations match against France.
