Harlequins target Stade surprise

Harlequins players celebrating
Harlequins have won both of their Heineken Cup pool match this season

Harlequins backs coach Collin Osborne is confident his players will be ready to take on Stade Francais in Paris on Saturday at the Stade de France.

The Heineken Cup pool match is expected to attract a crowd of around 70,000.

Osborne told BBC London 94.9: "If there is any pressure it is on Stade because they have to deliver in front of a home partisan crowd.

"They are full of expectations. For us we just really have to go out there and spoil the party."

Harlequins will travel on Friday for the eagerly awaited clash.

"We aspire to be one of the top sides around so we want to play these big games and play against big teams," said Osborne.

"We have a quiet confidence that we can at least raise our game to meet the demands of this game and see how we come out the other side."

Stade Francais moved the tie to the Stade de France which has a capacity of around 80,000.

The French side have only been beaten once in 32 pool matches in the Heineken Cup.

The squad list for the Parisian side is packed with internationals, including the likes of Juan Martin Hernandez, Ignacio Corleto and Sergio Parisse.

But Osborne refuses to be intimidated by the star-studded Stade line-up.

"We also have some very talented players, experienced people like Nick Easter and youngsters coming into the international fold like Danny Care and Ugo Monye," he said.

"At present we're picking from a full-strength side."
