Evans played 16 times for New Zealand

Harlequins expect to be without ex-All Blacks fly-half Nick Evans for more than a month because of a medial ligament knee injury.

Quins' star summer signing, 28, missed Saturday's 31-13 Guinness Premiership home victory over Bristol.

"Nick's probably out for another four or five weeks, possibly even longer, but I'm quite relaxed about it," said director of rugby Dean Richards.

Waisea Luveniyali stood in for Evans against Bristol but kicked poorly.

He landed just three conversions from nine attempts, missing two conversions and four penalties.
