Willie Walker has ended speculation about his future by agreeing a new two-year contract with Gloucester.

The versatile 29-year-old New Zealander's new deal will keep him at Kingsholm until the summer of 2010.

"My style of play and what I bring to the team really complements what they've already got there," Walker told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

"It took a while, we needed to work out what was best for both parties and I'm happy to come away with a good deal."
