England collapsed against Wales after Mike Tindall was stretchered off |
England centre Mike Tindall has set his sights on returning to action for Gloucester in April as he continues his recovery from a bruised liver. Tindall was injured during England's 26-19 Six Nations defeat by Wales.
He told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "I will take it week by week. Hopefully it will be the shortest possible time.
"I hope to be back sometime in April and to be involved and be around what's happening with Gloucester at the end of the season."
The 29-year-old said he was always confident he would make a full recovery after being stretchered off at Twickenham.

"I have known where I have been all along," said Tindall.
"It has been worse for my family because they weren't there and it was hard for them to get hold of people to find out what was going on. I was never too worried."
Tindall said he had taken newspaper headlines suggesting he had been at death's door with a pinch of salt.
"If you read the articles, most of them haven't been too far off, but it's just been the headlines," he added.
"Someone gets paid to write headlines, but I was never near death and I am still not engaged.
"What actually happened gets lost in what goes around writing a big article."
