Gloucester's Fijian flanker Akapusi Qera has agreed a two-year contract extension with the club. The 23-year-old's new deal will now keep him at Kingsholm until at least June 2010.
"I've been made to feel welcome by everyone associated with the club since I arrived and I'm very happy to sign up for another two years," Qera said.
"I have the ability to play a big role in what we are trying to achieve here at Gloucester."
Qera joined the club in 2007 from National Division One side Pertemps Bees after impressing with 16 tries from loose forward last season.

He helped Fiji reach the quarter-finals at the Rugby World Cup in France, scoring three tries in four appearances.
"I think it is pretty obvious to people who watch Gloucester regularly that Akapusi is a special talent," said Gloucester head coach Dean Ryan.
"There is a lot Q still has to learn, but he is in the right environment at Gloucester that we can support him in making sure he achieves his potential in the game."
