Glasgow cruised past Aironi, the Magners League's bottom club, as fit-again captain Al Kellock made his first appearance of the season.

Federico Aramburu ran in two tries for the Scots, both converted by Duncan Weir who also kicked three penalties.

DTH van der Merwe and Peter Murchie added further tries in the second half.

Hooker Luigi Ferraro's consolation try and a Ludovic Mercier penalty were the only times the struggling Italian visitors got on the scoreboard.
