Stortoni has enjoyed his three years with Glasgow |
Glasgow full-back Bernardo Stortoni has signed a new two-year contract with the Magners League club. The 33-year-old Argentine joined the Warriors from Bristol in 2007. "Bernie is the heartbeat of the team," said head coach Sean Lineen. "He has a great attitude and work ethic. The guy is exceptional. "He looks after himself really well and takes real pride in his performance. I think he's really developed his game over the last three years." Stortoni has been capped 21 times by Argentina and is delighted to be extending his stay in Scotland. "Over the last three years the team has been building and we're still working very hard," said the full-back. | MY SPORT: DEBATE |
"That's important to me because my main thing when I play rugby is to give everything. "I'm very proud to live and play in Glasgow. I have very strong feelings for this club because I believe it's the best place I've ever played professional rugby. "Glasgow is now my home away from home." Glasgow have also handed two-year deals to utility back Dave McCall, who had been on a temporary contract, and national academy flanker Chris Fusaro, who made his first start against Cardiff Blues a week-and-a-half ago.
