A last-gasp try by Argentine Bernie Stortoni gave Glasgow their second successive Magners League home win.
Leinster led 6-3 at the break thanks to two Jonathan Sexton penalties to a drop goal by Colin Gregor.
Moray Low, Hefin O'Hare and Stortoni crossed the Irish province's line after the break with Gregor adding a penalty.
Cian Healy was the try-scorer for Leinster in the second half while Sexton kicked his third penalty and a drop goal to earn a bonus point.
Sexton's first penalty of the game was from 30 yards and the second came on 25 minutes after Glasgow were guilty of handling in a ruck.
Gregor clipped over a smart drop-goal on the half-hour to reduce the Scottish side's deficit.
Prop Low penetrated following a pack drive four minutes into the second half before Sexton completed his treble of penalties.
Sexton then added a drop-goal and Gregor set up a tense finale by thumping over a 25-metre penalty.
Healy put Leinster back in control when he pounced for a try against the run of play but replacement O'Hare went over at the other end to give the Warriors hope.
Stortini was in the right place at the right time to settle the game.
