Turnbull's searing speed is a major asset for Edinburgh

Edinburgh winger Andrew Turnbull has signed a new two-year deal with the Magners League outfit.

Turnbull, 27, was the club's leading try scorer last season and is a Sevens international for Scotland.

"I'm really excited about what we can achieve as a team in the future," said the Edinburgh-born speedster.

"Now it is really important that we finish the season on a high. That will help us to put a marker down for next year and hopefully I can play my part."

Turnbull is the latest Edinburgh player to sign a new deal in recent weeks following the example of team-mates Scott Newlands, Geoff Cross and Alan MacDonald.
