Flanker Hogg out for three months
Edinburgh's Ally Hogg
Hogg had only just recovered from an elbow injury
Edinburgh flanker Ally Hogg is facing 12 weeks out of action after rupturing the medial ligament in his right knee.

Hogg was hurt against Cardiff Blues on 3 November, his comeback game after a month out with an elbow problem.

The Scotland star's leg will remain in a brace for the next two months, but he will not require surgery.

Edinburgh physio Olli Finlay said: "We will begin rehab in the brace so that by the time he finally sheds it, we can put him on an accelerated programme."
