Gareth Llewellyn won 92 caps for Wales |
Bristol lock Gareth Llewellyn has been cited for allegedly striking Bath prop David Barnes during last Sunday's Premiership match. The former Wales forward, 39, faces a Rugby Football Union (RFU) disciplinary hearing in London next Monday. He was reported by match citing officer Budge Pountney following the incident during the Ashton Gate clash. Barnes left the field injured shortly after the incident, with Bath going on to win the game 19-9. A statement on Bristol's website said: "Bristol Rugby acknowledge the citing and are looking into the matter. "The club will make no further comment until they have concluded their inquiries and will only make a further statement at that point."
