Bath (10) 13 Tries: Claassens Cons: Little Pens: Little (2)
Bath's Heineken Cup hopes ended in a brave loss to Stade Francais in a match played in dreadful conditions in Paris.
Two Julien Arias tries, both set up by Mathieu Bastaraud, did the damage.
One was in the left-hand corner after Basteraud's chip ahead, and the other was a close-range effort on the right to finish a Basteraud-inspired attack.
Bath's Michael Claassens pulled a try back and although Stade failed to score in the second half, Bath only added one penalty and fell just short of victory.
Bath head coach Steve Meehan:
"It came down to the conditions and, from time to time, our inaccuracies but I was happy with the effort and proud of the guys.
"It was a terrific performance. At one stage, it was 15-3 and we got it back to 15-13. We are desperately disappointed that we couldn't go on further.
"It was a terrific effort considering we were playing on a cabbage patch. The pitch didn't impress too many guys that were out there. It's something Stade Francais must look at and improve."
