Bath flanker Andy Beattie has received a three-week ban for stamping in the 26-12 Heineken Cup loss to Ulster. Beattie, sent off after 75 minutes of the game at Ravenhill, will not be able to play until after 1 November. At the disciplinary hearing it was judged that the offence did not merit a full five-week ban after the 31-year-old admitted guilt. Beattie will now miss Bath's next three home games against Stade Francais, Newcastle and Saracens.
