Grewcock & Mears get one-week ban

Grewcock did not get a yellow card at the time of the alleged offence

Bath and England pair Danny Grewcock and Lee Mears received one-week bans after RFU disciplinary hearings.

Second-row Grewcock was suspended for stamping on Sale flanker Nathan Bonner-Evans during his side's 18-16 win over Sale on 22 December.

Hooker Mears was charged with stamping on Joe El Abd during the 16-6 loss to Bristol at Ashton Gate on 27 December.

Both Grewcock and Mears pleaded guilty to the charges and will now miss Saturday's trip to Harlequins.
