Horgan misses Six Nations start
Shane Horgan
Shane Horgan limped off in Leinster defeat at Kingsholm
Shane Horgan has been ruled out of the first two matches of Ireland's Six Nations campaign with a knee injury.

The winger picked up the problem in Leinster's Heineken Cup defeat by Gloucester on Friday.

An Irish Rugby Football Union statement said: "Horgan sustained cartilage damage to his left knee."

He is expected to be out for four to six weeks, meaning he will miss the games in Wales on 4 February and at home to France on 11 February.

Horgan will also be a doubt for the arrival of England on 24 February and may only return to face Scotland on 10 March.
