Ulster's Andrew Trimble hamstring problem is not a major concern |
Andrew Trimble is the only concern for Irish coach Eddie O'Sullivan ahead of announcing his squad for the Test against South Africa on 11 November. Trimble reported to the Irish camp this week with a tight hamstring following Ulster's defeat to Llanelli on Friday.
The Ulster winger did some training following treatment but did not participate in sprinting.
"There is a slight tightness, but we are not too concerned at this stage," said a spokesman.
Trimble is due to be named in coach Eddie O'Sullivan 22-man match squad on Wednesday, and is expected to make the starting line-up against the Springboks.
"At present Andrew is the only concern," the spokesman added.
"The Leinster players spent Monday at rehab following their game with Edinburgh on Sunday, while a number of other players had bumps and bruises from the Heineken Cup games."
