Heineken Cup winners Munster ended the season on a high by trouncing the Blues and scoring five tries in the process to secure a bonus point. The Irish province led 18-8 at half-time and broke clear in the final quarter of the game to win comfortably.
John Kelly (2), Federico Pucciariello, Mossie Lawlor and Trevor Halstead were try scorers with Jeremy Manning kicking eight points and Paul Burke six.
Duane Goodfield scored a try and Nick Macleod a penalty for Blues.
Manning contributed two penalties and a conversion and Burke two conversions with the boot.
