Flanker Kieron Dawson has been linked with a move to Ulster |
Former Ireland flanker Kieron Dawson could be on his way to Ulster. The London Irish player is believed to be in talks with Ulster Rugby about a possible switch to the provincial side, who are second in the Celtic League.
The 31-year-old forward, who was born in Bangor, joined the Exiles in 1996 and returned to action at the start of the season after a long-term injury.
Dawson played club rugby for Bangor and was a target for Ulster in 2001 when Alan Solomons was coach.
Dawson was London Irish player of the season in 2000-1 and claimed the try of the season award in 2004-5.
He has scored two tries in his 13 appearances for the Exiles in the current campaign.
