Connacht sign versatile Venter | | Connacht have signed versatile front-row forward Frik Venter from Natal Sharks to boost their forward strength. The 23-year-old will fill the void left by the departure of Peter Bracken to Wasps last month. "Frik's preferred position is loose-head, but he can play both sides of the front-row and also as hooker," said team manager Tim Allnutt. Connacht are due to host Leicester Tigers in a friendly on 19 August.
