D'Arcy was voted player of the 2004 Six Nations Championship
Ireland centre Gordon D'Arcy has signed a new contract with the Irish Rugby Football Union taking him to the 2007 World Cup in France.

The 2004 Six Nations player of the tournament was a target for top clubs but he has now committed to Leinster.

"This is one of the best eras we have had with our success in the Triple Crown and twice finishing runners-up in the Six Nations," said D'Arcy.

"It is an appropriate time to pledge my future to Leinster and Irish rugby."
