Haslett gets London Irish deal
Michael Haslett has impressed the management at London Irish
Michael Haslett has earned a three-year contract

Former Dungannon forward Michael Haslett has been awarded a three-year contract by English Premiership club London Irish.

Haslett was unable to secure a full-time Ulster contract at the start of the 2002-03 season and had a trial with London Irish.

The former Belfast Royal Academy skipper played in the Dungannon team which won the AIB All-Ireland League in 2001.

London Irish are also reported to be in talks with Perpignan number eight Phil Murphy, a Canadian international who attended Belfast school Methodist College.
