2006 BST: Chris, Northants
Even as a through-and-through Englishman, I have to agree with the comments about Cusiter. His pass is quick and, uniquely on this tour, accurate. And he certainly puts himself about in both attack and defence. Although Byrne had a shocker in the 1st Test, don't always blame the hookers - the jumpers and lifters have to get it right too! If we really are going to take it to the ABs Thompson is the right choice.
2000 BST: Sam, Sheffield
Not sure why so many people are dissing Jason Robinson. I think he's a class player who can turn any game on its head. He may not have been on top of his game, but he has a history of producing the goods when it really matters. I think if the forwards get some decent possession, he could be in line for a big, match winning game. You can't help but be excited either at the prospect of Robinson and Williams on the two wings!
1913 BST: Elena, Scotland
The Lions are going to really regret not playing Chris Cusiter. He passes superbly and he can tackle players twice the size and speed of him. He should at least be on the bench.
1828 BST: Matt, New York
I agree with comments about Gordon Bulloch. Byrne was out of sorts during the last test, but when he was replaced by Thompson things did not get much better. Bulloch has been consistent both in the throwing and in the loose. Great natural leader too...
1801 BST: Ian, Edinburgh
Did SCW have a bad holiday in Scotland as a kid? Bulloch and Cuisiter not even in the 22. Bulloch is the only hooker to have regularly hit his jumpers in the line-out and Cuisiter has shown far more than Dawson on this tour.
1636 BST: Unhappy Scot, Glasgow
When are some Scots going to get into the Test team. Byrne was absolutely terrible in the 1st test and Bulloch should now be given his chance to prove his worth. Cusiter should also be there as both of the Scots have played well in the tour so far.
1606 BST: Bazza, Stratford-on-Avon, UK
For Jeremy going to Nice. Get a bus to Villefranche-sur-mer, walk to the harbour, find the "Chez Net" cafe. Not only a good venue but a knowledgeable gang.
1557 BST: Steve Holding, Cheshire, UK
Fly out tomorrow evening and will touch down Saturday morning in Auckland. Then off to the pub to watch the second Test to fight off jet lag. Hoping for a Lions win and then I can see the decider at Eden Park. Come on you Lions!!!!!!
1557 BST: Jon Adams, London
To Paul in London - go to "Champs" bar off Rakoczi ut in Budapest - a group of us watched the Lions v NZ Maori game there whilst on a stag do.
1556 BST: Bazza, London
To Paul who asked where too watch the match in Budapest: "Becketts Irish Bar" will show it. Watched the first game there last week. Good pub right in the middle of the city, just google for directions.
1554 BST: Marcus , Bristol
The comments by B Rangi are typical of the kiwi fan from the start of this tour. The reason why everyone is still taking about the BOD incident is because Umaga it went unpunished unlike Grewcock who got banned for two months. That's the difference, no justice.
1552 BST: Paul Stephens, Singapore
Flying down from Singapore to NZ with some Kiwi mates tomorrow in time for the second Test. I have a really good feeling about this one. Time for everyone, pundits and supporters alike to park their disagreements and get behind the Lions boys for this Saturday!
1543 BST: Percy, Bristol
Arrived in Wellington. Great atmosphere so far. Me and the rest of the lads are going to have Henson haircuts and have bought plastic spears to wave at Umaga.
1519 BST: Jim J, Florida
I'll be watching in the English Pub, Naples, Florida (even though I'm a proud Welshman!). Just seen the team, that's more like it!
1513 BST: Katie, Levin ,work in PALMY
What an awesome day it was yesterday in Palmerston North. The Lions fans were out in force. I hear they enjoyed themselves and were very nice to the locals after they lost the game and tried hard to drink the town dry!
1446 BST: Gareth Thomas, BBC Sport columnist
I look around in training and see the faces and think that these guys are quality players, so it's really exciting times for all of us.
1444 BST: Andrew Landmann, Auckland, NZ
The Lions can never win the media war here. When they win their games their opponents are dismissed as local teams, but when they lose to the AB's they are seen as weak and ineffectual. Their is a pretty vicious TV campaign likening the European supporters as a mad invading Barmy Army, whilst speaking in false WW2 British accents, urging Kiwis to defend NZ against the Invaders!
1415 BST: Barnes, Stroud
The first Test team just didn't seem hungry enough as a team. Omitting some of the players will now pay dividends and losing so convincingly may well have done more good than many realise. Let's just hope Henson and Williams play the team game rather than individually. Robinson IS off form and like many I am amazed he's been picked but at least Lewsey is back where he belongs.
1353 BST: Simone, Christchurch
Looking forward to the 2nd test in Wellington and hope the Lions do better there - they will if they play as a team. Live in NZ, but not a Kiwi, also lived in UK for about 15 years - fairly impartial. My take on "that tackle" is that it was unnecessary, and looked very suspect, especially as Umaga was also caught on video performing a "spear-tackle" on Wilkinson later on, and a deliberate trip-up of another player. All this was shown on NZ news by NZ commentators, so stop going on about this being Lions spin! The ABs are good enough to win without these tactics which are not acceptable from any player, let alone the ABs captain. Shame on you! At least have the grace to apologise, and then draw a line under the incident.
1329 BST: David W, London, Wellington on Friday
Just about to leave to fly to New Zealand. Looking forward to the 26hr flight! Meeting my brother out there, haven't seen him for six months as he has been working in Peru. I thought my journey was long, he left Peru on Monday and arrives on Friday!! Can't wait. Impressed with Woodward's selection and think we can be more competitive, just need to hit those first few lineouts. GO LIONS!!!!
1320 BST: Jeremy, London
I'm in Nice, France over the weekend and desperately need a establishment to watch the rugby? Any help! Please!
1319 BST: Paul, London
A group of us will be in Budapest on Saturday. Any ideas where we can watch the game?
1317 BST: B Rangi, New Zealand
I am stunned by the whinging on and on about the Umaga incident. The man was cleared by an independent judging body, plus there were two cited but still, there is only talk of Umaga. Has the English brute Grewcock, with a record as long as your arm for foul play apologised for biting? But do we hear any of that? Tana has an exemplary record for fair play, and while no one would wish for BOD to have had his tour end like this, we are playing a tough contact sport, not a game of marbles. Move on whingers.
1305 BST: Staff, Ireland
Credit to Woodward for making the necessary changes - now need to push on towards Saturday and build the intensity. I like what Gareth Thomas has been saying and doing since he was made new captain. It's great he will play 13 and face down Umaga. So here's a suggestion to really crank it up Saturday 8pm, Alfie to lead the Lions up to the haka a la Willie Anderson for Ireland v All Blacks in 89. One of the great moments..and now have team that can follow it though too.
1244 BST: Craig, Cardiff
What exactly does Chris Cusiter have to do to warrant inclusion in the squad? Sir Clive Woodward mentions bringing in youth and attacking options but has Matt Dawson on the bench.
1231 BST: Bill Grove, Palmerston North
It may have been a cricket score against Manawatu but the Lions and their fans won the praise of people in Palmerston North by their sportsmanship and good nature, plus I think they will win the second Test by more open play and pride.
1148 BST: Anthony, Doncaster
I ask you all now, in good faith, and in the spirit of honesty, who would make a greater impact from the bench .... man mountain Andrew Sheridan or Graham Rowntree ??? PS Bacon sandwiches and Guinness ready for Saturday morning, thank goodness for the good old English pub!
1132 BST: Undercover Kiwi
The All Blacks took a leaf out of the Lions book at their media session ahead of the second Test. Tana Umaga spoke directly to the media at the start of the session to put the Brian O'Driscoll tackle issue to bed and his team were there to support him. They were in the press conference, with some senior members standing to the side of Umaga, to lend their support to their embattled skipper. Just like all 22 Lions players being present at team namings.
1109 BST: Craig, Wellington
Well done lions...putting Manawatu to the sword clinically. My prediction of 39-6 was nearly right....for the halftime score! The lions were miles better than I thought and Manawatu miles worse. However my crystal ball has been fixed and I see that as the lions last win on tour. Saturday's game will be closer for a while but in the end 28-15 to the good guys (that's NZ). Incidentally, well done to the Lions fans who are creating enormous goodwill with their excellent humour and demeanour. We Kiwis don't hate the Lions but we do hate SCW due to his cocky, arrogant comments after the narrow win by England here in 2003.
1108 BST: James Dawson, Virginia-USA
Glad to see Dwayne Peel stay on....good choice. Bookies have the Kiwis laying 15-16 points. If public stays off the Lions, I'll tip the Lions for this Wellington Test and let all the marbles ride. Go Lions!!!! Let's see a deciding third Test in Auckland!
1105 BST: Monty, Hong Kong
SCW has made some positive changes I'd admit but if you were Gordon Bulloch you'd pack your bags and head home. If he can't make the bench after last week he never will.
1101 BST: Scooter, Derbyshire
Last Saturday's Test was a sorry affair for all Lions supporters. We were comprehensively beaten by the better side on the day. Fed up of reading Kiwi complaints about the biting incident...what were Mealamu's fingers doing in Grewcock's mouth anyway? And as for that tackle on BOD, shameful and disgusting. New team, new day this week. C'mon the Lions, show us your claws boys.
1056 BST: Arthur, London
Woke up to Clive's latest team and can't believe he's kept with Jonny to organise a set of Welsh backs. Surely Stephen Jones should be there for familiarity and continuity.
1031 BST: Tana Umaga, All Blacks captain
It's too late for explanations now. Everyone's got their own ideas. I could explain it but what would that achieve? I don't try to do things through the media. We will try to make contact and when we do, we will.
1011 BST: Ben, London
Why has Woodward picked Robinson again? Poor form in the Six Nations, terrible so far on tour. Clearly Clive lied when he said he was going to pick players on form. Why has Andrew Sheridan not even made it on to the bench ?
0940 BST: Donald, Germany
I have heard that SCW has employed an exorcist. He hopes to cure the All Blacks of their possession.
0914 BST: Graham Callard, England
Just seen the squad for Saturday. This looks a much more balanced 15 with dynamic back up on the bench. Sense has prevailed (at last). I'll be watching from an Irish bar just a few hundred metres north of Red Square in Moscow. I'm now looking forward to the game rather than feeling that watching it is the only alternative to visiting another Russian museum.
0853 BST: Tony Hurl-Hodges, Staffs
With the Kiwis playing such a structured game this Lions team could level the series. The form players are in and an expansive game looks on the cards.
0832 BST: Mark, Canada
So Woodward's selection is right second time around. Shame we had endure the shambles of the first Test for him to come to his senses. We still lack a real leader, though. O'Driscoll and Dallaglio were the soul of the team.
0755 BST: Ian Robertson, Radio Five Live
The pressure is really on Sir Clive Woodward. He has come out here with a lot of players that are rattling around in a huge hotel and he has thrown the names in a lucky bag and come up with a lot of different numbers this time. He got it wrong, badly last time and he admitted that himself. 0745 BST: Michiel, The Hague, Holland
Finally, SCW has come to his senses. Shane will get his chance as will Henson and Moody. I feel sorry for S Jones, I don't think he did too much wrong, but finally we have a reason to cheer Saturday!! Go the Lions!
0736 BST: Ben Fox, England (e-mail from Sydney)
The new back-row line-up sounds much better and will hopefully be fast and aggressive to gain yards down the field. Hopefully the forwards can follow by sorting the lineout.
0715 BST: John Prendergast, Dublin
Why oh why is Jason Robinson playing? I can not believe what I am reading this morning as I look at the selection. Cueto, Hickey, Horgan, Murphy??? Is Clive afraid to win this thing ?
0659 BST: Undercover Kiwi
One group backing Umaga are his loyal locals from Wainuiomata. Jonny Lomax, who played rugby league for the Canberra Raiders said: "I've never seen him try to hurt or maim anyone. He's never had that in him." Umaga, who played both rugby union and rugby league as a teenager, is a hero in these parts and there are many others who have stepped in to defend the attack on his integrity. This was, after all, the same man who stopped playing to place Wales captain Colin Charvis in the recovery position after a bone-shaking tackle from Jerry Collins not too many moons ago. As Henry intimated at the team naming, the All Blacks are aggrieved that their leader and inspiration has been targeted, when a certain Lions lock who has "previous" rated barely a mention for biting someone. 0613 BST: Paul Williams, Sydney
What has Woodward got against Simon Shaw? Woodward consistently overlooks a lock who is universally recognised as one of the best around. It's been happening since Woodward took control of England and he still hasn't worked it out. However he gives the likes of Grewcock so many unfounded chances, it is exasperating.
0545 BST: Ben, Dubai
This looks like a much more balanced team - I am excited by the backs line-up. Glad Henson and Williams are in - they deserve it! Let's hope the forwards live up to the pack's efforts from Tuesday's game. I know it will be a completely different Test for them, but we need the same intensity and passion.....c'mon boys!
0432 BST: Badger, Bangkok
This team for the second Test is more like it. Woodward has bitten the bullet and made the wholesale changes required. Over to the pack now to take on the All Blacks up-front and secure some ball. Roll on Saturday.
0430 BST: BBC Sport
Gavin Henson is included in a much-changed Lions team for the second Test against New Zealand on Saturday. Shane Williams, Simon Easterby, Lewis Moody, Ryan Jones, Donncha O'Callaghan and Steve Thompson are also in.
0414 BST: Will G , Wherever I Can
Martyn Williams has not had a great tour but why is he ignored when he is a quality player, can anyone tell me what Lewis Moody or Easterby has done better?
0336 BST: SLD, Melbourne
Well done the Lions on a well executed game against Manawatu. On this site I've seen (more than once) puzzling term "Kiwi arrogance" used several times by many Lions supporters. It's interesting to compare the opinion of alleged Lions fans who seem more keen to pan their own team rather than give credit to the opposite for a strong performance last weekend. Are you sure you people are all neighbours?
0329 BST: Brian Leith, Christchurch New Zealand
What a great few days we have had in Christchurch with the Lions supporters. They know their rugby and are great fans of your team. I've had a few ales with some of them in both Christchurch and Dunedin (Otago game) and your chaps celebrate..win or lose with the same intensity and unlike some NZers respect the law of the land. I only wish this occasion could happen at closer intervals than 12 years.
0326 BST: Simon, Wellington
I am a Pom living in Wellington and I gotta say the atmosphere is great. Not just for the games being played in Wellington, but the whole Lions tour. Yeah we wanna win, but we also want to have a good time, which we are of course. Friendly ribbing in the office makes the atmosphere better. And yes frankly its very easy for the Kiwis to provide verbal ammo against us. Suddenly Guinness in this town tastes a whole lot better.
0313 BST: Hugh O'Neill, Vancouver, Canada
Umaga has shown his lack of class by his failure to return O'Driscoll's call. I hope all you Lions fans out there boo him every time he gets the ball...at least Marshall had some decency in him.
0304 BST: Drew, New Zealand
Woodward has a personality that brings out the best in the opposition. He is a great motivator for the All Blacks.
0230 BST: Mike Spencer, UK
Just got out of our campervan after a night to remember in Palmy - the rugby might have been one sided but the partying after the game saw a great effort from the locals to out-drink the tourists finishing at 5am with even honours - great people, great atmosphere - roll on Wellington!
