England Women's head coach Geoff Richards has named his squad for the Rugby World Cup in Edmonton, Canada. Uncapped duo Katy Storie, the England A captain, and Rachel Burford have both won places in the 26-strong party, led by Worcester scrum-half Joanne Yapp.
"We can win the World Cup. This is a very talented squad and there are no weaknesses in any area," said Richards.
England, runners-up to New Zealand in the 2002 World Cup, face the US Eagles on 31 August in their first match.
They will then face South Africa and France before the knockout stages commence.
