White will continue to lead Scots
Scotland flanker Jason White
Jason White had a fine Six Nations with Scotland
Scotland head coach Frank Hadden has confirmed that Jason White will continue his captaincy of the team.

The 28-year-old Sale Sharks forward will lead the Scots against the Barbarians this month and on the tour of South Africa in June.

White helped to guide the Scots through a tough autumn test series in November and to their best finish in the RBS Six Nations Championship.

"Jason has taken the captaincy of his country in his stride," said Hadden.

"There is no doubt that he has the respect of his players. He may be a man of few words, but when he speaks the players listen.

"He has led by example and his form has actually improved with the responsibility, something which doesn't happen all the time."

Meanwhile, the Scots have announced that they will play Romania, the Pacific Islands and Australia at Murrayfield this November.
