Wales coach keeps faith for Scots
Wales prop Adam Jones
Jones suffered a dead leg in Saturday's loss to England
Prop Adam Jones has recovered from a leg injury to take his place in an unchanged Wales side for Sunday's Six Nations match with Scotland in Cardiff.

There are two changes on the bench with Mike Phillips replacing Gareth Cooper, and Gareth Delve in for Alix Popham.

Number eight Delve has shaken off a hamstring injury, but scrum-half Cooper is out with a dislocated shoulder.

Ceri Sweeney is still struggling with a groin injury so Nicky Robinson remains the replacement fly-half.

Wales coach Mike Ruddock said he has kept faith with the players that suffered a heavy 47-13 defeat at Twickenham because their performance merited a second chance.

"I felt there was a big effort there up until that crucial moment I've spoken of before when [flanker] Martyn Williams got sin-binned," Ruddock told BBC Wales Sport.

There is still plenty of confidence in the team
Wales coach Mike Ruddock

"I felt that helped change the course of the game, so I'd like to give the players the opportunity to show me they can perform for the full 80 minutes and get the result we want.

"No-one was more disappointed with Saturday than the players themselves.

"They've been setting high standards and sometimes in sport things happen that you don't want to happen.

"The real test is how we bounce back, and I'm sure the players will bounce back.

"There is still plenty of confidence in the team and it's the coaching staff's job this week to remind the players what a great bunch of players they are and how talented they are so they can go out and play well on Sunday."

Suspension keeps Gavin Henson, Ian Evans and Dafydd Jones out of the Millennium Stadium encounter.

Tom Shanklin, Brent Cockbain, Luke Charteris, Kevin Morgan, Iestyn Thomas, Jonathan Thomas, Ryan Jones and Chris Horsman, plus Cooper and Sweeney, remain sidelined by injury.
