Jason White wants to build on November's performance |
Scotland coach Frank Hadden believes he and his players finally have something to be proud of following the win over France at Murrayfield. "It was fantastic. I said we would be proud when we had done something special and I think we've done that today," said Hadden.
"We needed to get a result to confirm that we are on the road to something.
"We shouldn't forget the quality of the opposition. It was an energy-sapping contest and the guys did a great job."
Captain Jason White said Hadden's influence since taking over from Matt Williams was key to the change in the national team's performances.

"The difference is we have a happy squad and we are playing for each other. Frank told us to just go out and play and the pressure was taken off us," he said.
"It is absolutely brilliant. We had a good week's training and knew, if we played well, we had a chance of beating them.
"It was quite close at the end but we hung on for a great victory."
Man-of-the-match Scott Murray reiterated White's sentiments.
"We knew we were capable of playing rugby like that," said Murray.
"We enjoy doing stuff well and I am sure you can see the difference out there.
"We are on the pitch thinking 'Let's not worry about making a mistake'.
"If we do, we should just put it behind us and get on with it and enjoy playing the game."
