Jauzion has been told to rest for three weeks |
Centre Yannick Jauzion has been ruled out of France's Six Nations opener against Scotland with a fractured toe. But Frederic Michalak and Remy Martin trained on Friday morning and will play at Murrayfield on Sunday.
"Yannick's fracture on the little toe could worsen so we decided to sideline him for three weeks," said team doctor Thierry Hermerel.
Ludovic Valbon, who has two caps and plays with Brive, will be promoted from the bench to replace him.
And Bourgoin's uncapped centre Guillaume Bousses will be drafted into the squad.
Toulouse fly-half Michalak was given time to rest a groin problem, while Martin is also back to full fitness for the tournament favourites.
