Burgess will be looking to win her 75th cap |
Coaches Fielies Coetsee and Jason Lewis have named an experienced Wales squad for the women's Six Nations. Liza Burgess (74 caps) and Rhian Williams (49 caps) will head the challenge ahead of the first game with England at St Albans on 4 February.
Captain Mel Berry and deputy Clare Flowers return after breaks, with Jamie Kift, Dawn Mason and Naomi Thomas.
UWIC's uncapped duo Philippa Tuttiett and Rhian Bowden provide the youth as they seek their debuts.
Kerry Jenkins (knee) and Amy Thompson (shoulder) were unavailable for selection due to injury.
"We've had a very positive build-up to the competition, with some real talent showing through during training," said Coetsee.
"We were fortunate to be able to select a side that has a balance of experience and youth, a combination that we are sure will allow us to put in a strong performance."
