New Zealand's Justin Marshall and Richie McCaw are expecting a tougher Lions challenge in Wellington next weekend after Saturday's 21-3 win. "Next week is going to be a completely different kettle of fish," said scrum-half Marshall.
"We took a bit out of the game but the Lions will have taken a hell of a lot out of it as well."
Flanker McCaw added: "The Lions will go back and regroup, and we'll do the same. It will go up another level."
Sir Clive Woodward's side were convincingly beaten in Christchurch on Saturday.
They have also lost skipper Brian O'Driscoll, Richard Hill and Tom Shanklin for the rest of their tour.
But Marshall says the Lions will be a bigger danger now they have played against the All Blacks.
"They would have looked at the set-piece, our line-out and our scrum, which they hadn't come up against before and they will be a lot better for it," he said.
McCaw also expects a different game next weekend but feels New Zealand will be fully prepared for the challenge.
"Our aim these days is to go better every time and this series is especially so," he said.
"We said we'd throw everything into it in Christchurch but I guess next week it'll be everything to play for."
