Pat Sanderson has been named as captain of an England XV to face the Barbarians at Twickenham next Saturday. "This is a huge honour for me to step up to the captaincy," said the Worcester Warriors star.
Newcastle Falcons' Jamie Noon starts at 12 in a centre pairing with Wasps' Ayoola Erinle, who will be making his senior England team debut.
"The game will be as tough, fast and hopefully entertaining," added England coach Joe Lydon.
The other England players selected for the game against the Barbarians will also be travelling to Canada next month for the Churchill Cup, where they will face the hosts and Argentina.
"It was interesting watching Argentina in their game against the Lions on Monday, as this is a team we may very well face in Canada next month," said Lydon.
"Their commitment and team spirit against world-class opposition was there for all to see."
