1849: Referee Stuart Dickinson blows his whistle to signal the end of the game.

1848: TRY Wales 16-33 South Africa:
South Africa put the outcome beyond doubt as flanker Danie Rossouw forces his way over in the final minute, Mayer Bosman adding the conversion from in front of the posts.

1846: Wales try a desperate counter-attack but it comes to an end with a knock-on from Colin Charvis.

1840: TRY Wales 16-26 South Africa:
Wales finally earn a glimmer of hope as Shane Williams off-loads to Ceri Sweeney, cutting in on a great angle, who dives over for the try. Stephen Jones converts to bring the home side to within 10 points.

1837: Wales finally threaten the South Africa line but Shane Williams is forced into touch by Percy Montgomery in the left corner. The referee decides the tackle is high and brandishes a second yellow card for Montgomery, who is sent off.

1834: Wales bring on Mefin Davies for Rhys Thomas at hooker.

1831: Referee Stuart Dickinson asks Wales captain Gareth Thomas to speak to Michael Owen as the number eight repeatedly questions the official's decision-making.

1827: PENALTY Wales 9-26 South Africa:
A hopeful Gareth Thomas pass is intercepted by Jean de Villiers and Wales concede a penalty with a deliberate knock-on. Montgomery duly dishes out more punishment.

1826: Percy Montgomery returns from the sin-bin to give South Africa a temporary one-man advantage.

1824: Wales replace Parker in the centre with Matthew Watkins.

1821: TRY Wales 9-23 South Africa
A killer blow for Wales as Habana sends a grubber kick through, and the ball squirms away from Sonny Parker, Conrad Jantjes pouncing on the loose ball to score. Meyer Bosman, taking over the kicking duties from Montgomery, adds the conversion via an upright.

1818: Wales captain Gareth Thomas returns to the field after further treatment, with full-back Lee Byrne going off.

1816: The numbers are even again as Wales prop Chris Horsman is yellow-carded for a punch off-the-ball.

1813: South Africa are reduced to 14 men as full-back Percy Montgomery is sent to the sin-bin.

1809: Habana escapes again down the left flank but Dafydd James forces him into touch. Wales captain Gareth Thomas receives treatment after getting a finger in the eye and leaves the field, replaced by Ceri Sweeney.

1733: PENALTY Wales 9-16 South Africa
Wales reduce the gap to seven points with a third penalty from Stephen Jones.

1804: TRY Wales 6-16 South Africa
South Africa extend their lead with a second try from Bryan Habana, his 15th in only his 14th Test. Gareth Thomas rushes up out of the Wales defensive line but misses the tackle and the Springboks swiftly move the ball left to put Habana over. Montgomery misses the conversion.

1800: The second half kicks off.

1748: HALF-TIME Wales 6-11 South Africa

1745: Springbok flanker Schalk Burger is penalised for a swinging arm but Wales' Stephen Jones misses the kick from halfway.

1740: South African centre Jaque Fourie romps in under the posts after running a great angle to slice though Wales' backs but is called back for a forward pass.

1737: Wales' Martyn Williams gets his body under Springbok prop CJ van der Linde to pull off a crucial try-saving tackle. Wales had been attacking but a turnover almost put South Africa over.

1733: PENALTY Wales 6-11 South Africa
South African Percy Montgomery puts in an illegal late hit on Welsh scrum-half Gareth Cooper and Stephen Jones succeeds with a difficult kick from the left touchline.

1728: Wales win a penalty deep in South Africa's half and opt for touch in the corner. But the Boks clear easily.

1725: PENALTY Wales 3-11 South Africa
A handful of Welshman join a ruck from offside and Percy Montgomery, despite his strangulated run-up, accepts the three points.

1722: PENALTY Wales 3-8 South Africa
South African lock Victor Matfield strays offside and Stephen Jones slots a first penalty for Wales.

1720: Noise levels rise in Cardiff as the Welsh construct their best attack, down the left flank.

1717: TRY Wales 0-8 South Africa
South Africa surge again after the missed penalty and after a series of phases, they manufacture a simple try for Bryan Habana in the left corner. Percy Montgomery and his cramped kicking style miss the conversion.

1713: South Africa's Bryan Habana hares down the left touchline and slips in a little grubber, only for Shane Williams to barge him late. The referee gives a penalty but Percy Montgomery, with a strangely curtailed run-up, misses.

1710: Wales weather some early Springbok pressure and finally ease into their opponents' half.

South Africa's Percy Montgomery slots the opening penalty.

1700: Wales and South Africa kick off in Cardiff.

1645: Wales limber up for their match against South Africa in Cardiff, with kick-off in 15 minutes.

1630: PENALTY Ireland 14-30 Australia
Mat Rogers slots a late penalty as Australia wrap up a convincing win to end their losing streak of seven straight games.

1624: TRY Ireland 14-27 Australia
Good support and handling from Ireland puts wing Shane Horgan over in the right corner.

1615: A scintillating finish at Twickenham as England hammer on the door, knowing one try could do it. From an attacking scrum, England break right but the backs have no fire power. Mark Cueto is ushered into touch and the referee blows his whistle.

1613: New Zealand's Chris Masoe, who has just come back from the sin-bin, is sent straight back for deliberately slowing down England's ball.

1609: TRY Ireland 9-20 Australia
Chris Latham scores for the Wallabies, converted by Mat Rogers.

1607: Wendell Sailor comes on for Australia and Piri Weepu and Joe Rokocoko come on for New Zealand. England bring on Chris Jones and Matt Sevens, the latter for Andrew Sheridan.

1605: England surge forward in a succession of waves after Matt Dawson's hack-through on a loose ball.

1559: PENALTY England 19-23 New Zealand
New Zealand's Neemia Tialat is sin-binned for deliberate offside and Charlie Hodgson succeeds with the penalty.

1554: PENALTY England 16-23 New Zealand
England fly-half Charlie Hodgson receives another late clattering but gets up to slot the three points.

1553: Wallaby fly-half Mat Rogers misses a penalty against Ireland.

1547: TRY Ireland 6-13 Australia
Australia score a try through wing Drew Mitchell. Mat Rogers converts.

1545: New Zealand infringe and England pump the left corner. They take the line-out cleanly but the three-quarters go backwards. But play is called back when All Blacks prop Tony Woodcock is sin-binned for pulling down the maul.

Matt Dawson goes offside at a scrum and Dan Carter takes three points.

Mat Rogers converts a penalty to get the Wallabies back on level terms at Lansdowne Road.

1541: Australia kick-off the second half in Ireland.

1537: PENALTY England 13-20 New Zealand
New Zealand prop Tony Woodcock floors Charlie Hodgson off-the-ball. Hodgson dusts himself down to land three points.

1534: TRY England 10-20 New Zealand
Dan Carter hits back immediately with an incisive break to set up a platform for a push-over try from full-back Mils Muliaina on the third phase. Carter converts.

1532: England hooker Steve Thompson is penalised for standing up in the scrum but New Zealand fly-half Dan Carter proves he isn't infallible by missing.

1529: Dan Carter kicks off the second half for New Zealand. England try to run it out of their 22 but are engulfed in waves of black shirts. Half-time in Ireland.

1528: Ireland squander a sensational chance for a try after creating a gaping overlap on the left flank in Australia's 22. Geordan Murphy's final pass goes over the head of the winger.

Irish stand-off Ronan O'Gara slots another three-pointer in Dublin.

1520: Australian fly-half Mat Rogers goes down clutching his right knee. After some treatment, Rogers hobbles back into the action.

1517: HALF-TIME England 10-13 New Zealand

1514: PENALTY Ireland 3-3 Australia
Mat Rogers opens Australia's account at Lansdowne Road.

In London, England break down the left flank through blind-side Pat Sanderson, rousing the crowd into a frenzy of excitement until the attack fizzles out.

1510: England hammer away at New Zealand's midfield and eventually earn a penalty but Charlie Hodgson misses a relatively simple kick. From the re-start, the All Blacks launch an audacious counter and only desperate England defence keeps them out at the other end.

1506: PENALTY England 10-13 New Zealand
Dan Carter adds another three points for the Kiwis after England skipper Martin Corry is penalised.

1505: Ireland's Ronan O'Gara misses with a penalty attempt following the tackle on O'Kelly.

1459: In Ireland, Malcolm O'Kelly stays down after a heavy challenge from Lote Tuqiri. The lock is immobilised and stretchered off.

1458: New Zealand scrum-half Byron Kelleher leads a flood through the English defence but a last-gasp tackle on Tana Umaga sees the ball pop up to Chris Masoe, who knocks on as he attempts to touch down.

1455: PENALTY England 10-10 New Zealand
Dan Carter slots three points for the visitors after the all-action Lewis Moody joins a ruck from offside.

1451: PENALTY England 10-7 New Zealand
Charlie Hodgson provides the perfect reply with a penalty.

1449: TRY England 7-7 New Zealand
Daniel Carter makes a silky half-break and feeds skipper Tana Umaga for an easy try, though hints of a forward pass. Carter converts.

1446: PENALTY Ireland 3-0 Australia
Ronan O'Gara slots three points for Ireland.

1444: England's forwards are enjoying the most of the early possession but their probing around the fringes is constantly knocked back by an aggressive All Blacks defence.

1441: England lock Danny Grewcock gets a telling off for an off-the-ball infringement but manages to stay on the pitch. There's also a heated group scuffle in Ireland.

1439: Ireland and Australia kick-off 10 minutes late.

1435: TRY England 7-0 New Zealand
England's decision to go for the line-out pays dividends as the pack power skipper Martin Corry over the line. Charlie Hodgson converts from wide on the left touch-line.

1433: England fly-half Charlie Hodgson slips a little grubber into touch for the first line-out, a key area in today's encounter. The All Blacks win the ball but England pressure, Matt Dawson charges down an attempted clearance and England win a penalty. They opt to kick into touch, five metres from the Kiwi line.

1432: England and New Zealand kick off at Twickenham. In Ireland they are a couple of minutes behind and still going through the anthems.

1428: At Twickenham, the New Zealand anthem rings out before a thundering rendition of God Save The Queen.

The All Blacks then deliver a variation on their traditional Haka, ending with a throat-slitting gesture, followed by England's Land of Hope and Glory over the public address system.

1426: England skipper Martin Corry trots out at the head of his red-tracksuited team and gathers them into a huddle to deliver a rousing speech.

1425: New Zealand wing Doug Howlett leads his side out on the occasion of his 50th cap, followed by captain Tana Umaga.

1415: Twickenham and Lansdowne Road are filling up fast as the fans look forward to two huge tests for the respective home sides.
