We will be ready for Wales
Geordan Murphy

Ireland and Leicester star

I suppose in a way it's good not to be going into this game against Wales as favourites.

All season we have been fancied to do this and that, so it will be a different run up to the game.

Wales are a fantastic side at the moment, right bang on form and doing all the right things

Obviously it's a big disappointment that we are not going to Cardiff for the big one, but there is still plenty to play for.

Successive Triple Crowns would do very nicely, thank you.

I firmly believe that we have already got over the disappointment of losing to France.

We had a sit down with the boss on Monday after a fairly quiet day at training. We spoke about the ways to get over the hangover.

Mind you, we are under no illusions about what a huge task lies ahead of us at the Millennium Stadium.

Wales are very strong at the minute. They are a fantastic side at the moment, bang on form and doing all the right things.

Their class players are producing the goods, and it is going to be a very big ask for us to go into their den and come away with a victory.

Mike Ruddock has them playing a very open style of a game. They are ready to toss the ball around at every opportunity such is their confidence right now.

What we have to guard against is giving them any opportunity to run loose ball from broken phases. If we do they can be very dangerous and severely punish us.

However, there are a number of players in our side who have a big point to prove.

Eddie (O'Sullivan) has been very loyal to his players over the years and generally that has been repaid in spades.

Not making any changes shows that he is not panicking, and that will give the side added confidence that he is happy that we can do the business.

Anyway it would be difficult to single any single player out following our performance against the French.

The squad is generally in very good form and relaxed. We had a few holes of golf on Monday and banter was prevalent as usual.

When we are all together as a group the cloud is quickly lifted. There's always somebody to toss in a funny quip and everyone is rolling about.

We also went out for a meal together on Monday night and it was pretty good for team building again.

That will be the key for us to come good again on Saturday. Another Triple Crown will help soothe the disappointment of missing on a Grand Slam.
